We will be happy to organise the perfect hotel for group trips so that your travel plans run smoothly. We will, of course, consider your individual wishes, group size and the occasion. As an alternative, we can also prepare a selection for you to choose from bed-and-breakfast hosts or overnight stays with half-board.

The benefit to you: Hotels in Kempten do not charge a tourist tax or any fees for an overnight stay.

All bus drivers of tour groups can visit the following Kempten museums free of charge:

· Cambodunum Archaeological Park
· Showroom Erasmuskapelle
· Kempten-Museum in the Zumsteinhaus*

* In the Kempten Museum you will also receive a coffee at a reduced price (€1.00).

Drink voucher

If a (group) city tour has been booked with us, we will have a drink voucher available for you. The voucher can be picked up at the Tourist Information (Rathausplatz 24) during the regular opening hours.

As a driver in a tour group, please identify yourself accordingly on site, for example with a business card, driving license, work clothes, etc.

Kempten is ideally connected to the traffic network thanks to its central location at the heart of the Allgäu region – regardless of whether you plan to arrive in the region by car, train or by plane. If you prefer a more active mode of transport, you can also use the many cycle paths or even join the Munich Way of St James to Kempten.

Tours of the Allgäu region

Its central location makes Kempten the perfect starting point for group trips into the Allgäu region. The most important sights and leisure activities can be reached in just an hour’s drive from Kempten. Get to know the beautiful Allgäu and enjoy outstanding views of the Alpine panorama. Lake Constance is one of Germany’s most popular destinations and can also be reached as part of a day trip.

Neuschwanstein Castle, the fairytale palace of King Ludwig II, and the Benedictine abbey in Ottobeuren are some of the Allgäu’s cultural highlights. Learn the art of brewing beer and making cheese, too, or take up the offer of the many sports activities: Hiking, golf or cycling in summer, and skiing, cross-country skiing or tobogganing in winter.
